Michelin snaps up Hungarian Taurus

TYRE manufacturer Michelin has bought Hungarian Taurus RT, the parent company of Taurus Agrotyre. It is a move which Michelin believes will heighten Taurus presence in the UK and enable benefits to be achieved from the significant market share currently held by Taurus in the central and eastern European agricultural tyre markets. Farmers will still be able to purchase Taurus tyres from their usual distributors.n
