MMB pays £10m

THE residuary Milk Marketing Board is to pay a further £10m to 28,500 former suppliers within the next few weeks.

"Eligible" producers – those registered under the milk marketing scheme in the 1992/93 milk year, or to whom an entitlement was transferred – will share £8m. "End of year" producers – those selling milk to the MMB during the final trading period from April to October 1994 – will share £2m. Most producers will receive both payments, an average of £350 each. &#42
