More dip for teats with splash guards

TEAT dip use can be cut in half with the PowrDip teat dip cup, incorporating a new splash guard, says Warks-based JCCJ.

The company claims the PowrDip cup, available by mail order, is more efficient than traditional teat dip cups. The new splash guard prevents spillage and aids effective coverage of teats with dip chemicals, it adds.

Teat dip liquid use is said to be about 4ml/cow. The PowrDip cup, manufactured in California from durable plastic, costs £20 (01827-717771, fax 01827-718181).
