New Holland FR9000 forager

Undoubtedly the biggest crowd-puller at the event was New Holland’s new self-propelled forage-harvester.

With a completely revised chopping mechanism and the biggest cylinder on the market, the full range runs from 395hp to 768hp.

This model – which will be under evaluation in the UK this year – is the 466hp FR9050 with a 12.9-litre Iveco six-cylinder power-plant.

A brace of the firm’s new T7000 tractors were used to ferry grass to the clamp.
