Non-food extension

MAFF is extending the deadline for farmers who grow non-food crops on set-aside land to submit their IACS 9 forms, which confirm that the crop has been delivered to the collector or first processor.

Previously they had to be in by Nov 15 for the appropriate set-aside payments to be made by the EUs Dec 31 deadline. But Brussels has extended the date for making payment to Mar 31 and has also agreed to give farmers more time to submit their own IACS 9 forms. Feb 9, 1998 is the new deadline. &#42
