bulls galore
THE multi-breed bull sale at Perth saw an entry of 40 bulls and a top of 2600gns for a Limousin.
Lodge Moby Dick, an 18-month-old entry from Ian and Wendy Callions herd at Stirling, was bought by David Paterson, Denny, Stirling.
A Broadmeadows Cannon son from the Ronick herd of David Dick, Mains of Throsk realised 2150gns to J and A Henderson, Aberfeldy. And a Balfunning bull from R G Ross, Forres made 2000gns to Mr Bruce, Caithness.
A son of Dingle Hofmeister from Maj David Walters Balthayock herd sold to Cairness Farming Co at 1800gns to head the Charolais section followed by a Maerdy Impeccable son from Andrew Reid, Milton of Moyness taken at 1750gns by J and L Garland, Ellon, Aberdeen.
