Precautions led to theft
AS a precaution during the current foot-and-mouth outbreak, we parked our Land Rover and trailer at the end of our farm lane to block any vehicles from entering, and also so the postman could leave our mail in the dry.
We should like to thank the kind person or persons who took advantage of our safety precautions and stole all four wheels from our Land Rover.
Do the general public care about farmers? I dont think so , if they can do this sort of thing when we are in the middle of such a disastrous time.
It made me feel really sick when we discovered this heartless deed this morning.
