Printer pulps anti-Monsanto magazine
THE entire print run of The Ecologist magazine – which was to have been devoted to biotechnology – has been pulped by its printer.
Much of the editorial material is thought to have been a critical attack on biotechnology giant Monsanto, which is amassing a huge portfolio of genetically modified products.
The printer is believed to have destroyed the issue for fear of libel action.
