Quick cutter helps cut out the effort

RIDGE Tools latest cutting machine is designed to cut stainless steel tube with walls measuring 12mm to 62mm thick.

The company says its 122 machine saves time and effort by eliminating the need to manually revolve a cutter around the tube.

The tube is turned on rollers powered by a 230v motor, and a heavy-duty cutter wheel mounted on durable bearings performs cutting.

Other features include an incremental scale for quick and easy measuring, while an adjustable cutting handle accommodates different tubing sizes.

Designed to be lightweight, the 122 costs £955 (01462-485335).
