Single concentrate is well packed

COWS can be offered a sufficient supply of rumen degradable protein, and a palatable source of sugar and digestible fibre using a single concentrate – Probeet, says Trident Feeds.

Probeet is a combination of pressed sugar beet pulp and regulated release molasses. Trident says it offers improved digestive efficiency because the urea acts more like true protein in the rumen. The resulting product claims to be 19% crude protein, so is ideal as a late summer buffer and also to balance maize silage.
