Spray control system now on offer

A NEW spray control system and dribble bar attachments are now on offer from Benest Technologies of East Yorkshire. Both are manufactured by Accu-Rate of Swindon, Wilts.

The control system can be used in conjunction with Benests Dropleg Application System. With two nozzle bodies running from a single spray line, it offers all he advantages of a twin-line system at less cost, the company claims.

Essential to the system is an air pressure-controlled valve that opens and shuts according to the smallest variation. This leads to water pressure being accurately matched to spraying pressure at all times, with the result that the chosen application rate is accurately maintained at the nozzle tip.

This can be monitored and controlled from the tractor cab, allowing rapid alteration of rates and spray quality to optimise chemical efficacy and reduce costs.

The Accu-Rate dribble bars, designed for accurate application of liquid fertiliser to cereals, grass and brassicas, can be fitted to most sprayers.

The main features include a constant stream of optimum-sized droplets that can be delivered equally effectively on both even and even ground, and the ability to apply 90-1100 litres/ha without stripping down. It also provides even placement across the entire boom.
