Spread the load when assisting calving

AVOID causing damage to cow and calf when assisting calvings by using Vetcepts which spread the traction forces over a larger surface area, says S J Hales Products.

Vetcepts are designed to enclose the entire lower leg in mesh which tightens as the fabric is stretched and directs the pull along the whole leg. By enclosing the hooves it also ensures that they will not catch on the pelvic brim nor tear the cervix, reducing risk of damage to the cow, it adds.
