Student howlers – youve got to see the funny side
Student howlers – youve got to see the funny side
Its funny, sometimes, the things young people say. So, in
celebration of gibberish and gobbledegook, Farmlife offers
Farm College Howlers. Here are a few of their pearls of wisdom
that lecturers have come across in students work
"The slug has four greasy testicles on its head."
"When a suckling calf stands in a more natural position, its neck is straight and the milk flows nicely down its neck."
"For profitability, its important that your sows are producing enough piglets per litre."
"The most important part of intensive beef is the grazing period."
"It is not the actual wormers that the cows eat, by the wormers eggs, that laided inside the cow, and are either, deposited in the cows dung, or in the dead worms once it has passed out."
• Are you a teacher or lecturer who has been left perplexed or amused by a sentiment such as these. If so, wed love to hear about it. Dont worry, you can remain anonymous – all we want are the words of wisdom. £10 awaits.
