Two tillage events
PREPARATIONS for this years Tillage events are under way.
Two are planned, one at Manor Farm, Harlton, Cambs, on Sept 12 and, for the north, a second at Wester Cash Farm, Strathmiglo, Fife, on Oct 8.
All types and methods of seed-bed establishment – from direct drilling, low tillage, minimal tillage to conventional plough and power harrow will be on show.
Sponsored by farmers weekly, Abbey National Business and BASF and organised by the AEA, the events are open to visitors from 8am to 3pm. *
