We need a Countryside March now
THE Countryside March should go ahead ASAP to remind Blair how many people this terrible virus is going to put out of work.
Here in Cumbria there are villages with every single farm in the surrounding area confirmed with foot-and-mouth, and those that are not will be slaughtered as well.
Whole communities are being effected. How can MAFF confirm foot-and-mouth on a farm, put the farmer in quarantine on that farm, and not slaughter the livestock?
That is what is going on in Cumbria and Brown can stand up and say he has total faith in Scudamore.
Is there something wrong here or is it just me?
