All-British menu planned for Farmers Weekly Awards

The Grosvenor House Hotel will be putting on an all-British menu for the 900-plus guests at the 2007 Farmers Weekly Awards on Wednesday next week (31 October 2007).
The main course of Langdale Lamb is English Quality Standard, which is renowned for its distinctive taste and eating quality – a natural result of the Herdwick lambs maturing slowly on the heathers and grasses of the Lake District fells.
“In celebrating the best of British farming, we are also celebrating the best of British food and the Grosvenor has really excelled this year with a selection of fine dishes,” says awards director, Debbie Beaton.
FWi will be carrying coverage of the awards night celebrations on 1 November.
