David Cameron podcasts exclusively for Farmers Weekly

Tory leader David Cameron has exclusively revealed to Farmers Weekly that he doesn’t want  “knowingly” to eat GM food, and that he grows cucumbers just two feet from his back door – food inches rather than food miles he says.

And he believes there needs to be a rebalancing of British taxpayers’ funds that support other European farmers: “We have for many years been contributing too much to the farmers of other countries, and countries should take more responsibility themselves.”

Listen to David Cameron’s podcast with Farmers Weekly’s Julian Gairdner on the morning of Monday 3 July in his car on the way to the Royal Show.
