Stephen Betts at Thornham Farms in Norfolk was pleased with the winter barley harvest and was waiting to finish oilseed rape.

About 80ha of Pearl winter barley had yielded 6.9t/ha which he was pleased with, and it was all under 1.6% nitrogen.

He claimed the barley results to be better than last year, however complained of the lower prices this year.
