Einstein winter wheat is yielding well at 8.75-10t/ha for William Greenwood at Swanborough Farm in Lewes, East Sussex.

With two thirds of his 180ha cut, yields are better than last year. He is also pleased with the quality at 13% protein, 80kg/hl bushel weight and 240 Hagberg.

Oilseed rape is finished, with pleasing yields of 4.3t/ha. The crop was all sold on a contract basis. Twelve hectares of spring barley remains to be cut, and is all looking good at the moment.
