Harvest has finished for Brian and William Totman at Portway Farm, Hampshire, with above average results.

William Totman said 20ha of Malacca wheat averaged 8t/ha, and tested well with good protein. Spire spring barley cut at 7.5t/ha, with Cellar at 6.25t/ha. He said these results were surprising, and quality was all good.

Harvest finished on August 16 this year compared to into September last year, so he is very pleased. Mr Totman has no plans to change crops for next season.
