Thieves steal grain worth £6k from Lincolnshire farm

Thieves have stolen £6,000 of grain from a farm in Lincolnshire.


Police are appealing for information about the incident, which took place on a farm at Cliff Road, Snitterby, near Gainsborough.


About 25-30t of wheat were stolen from the grain store.


This would have required a large vehicle and would have taken a considerable amount of time, said a police spokesman.


Officers are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area, or anyone who has any information on this type of crime to contact them.
