Voluntary Initiative points available at the Royal Show

Farmers visiting the environment demonstration at this year’s Royal Show (2-5 July, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire) can pick up two Continuing Professional Development points for the National Register of Sprayer Operators, according to organisers.

The 0.6ha (1.6 acre) virtual farm is hosted by the Rural Development Service, English Nature and the Countryside Agency and represents how the government is prioritising its environmental grant-funding.

One environment and one application procedure point is available for all farmers register when they visit the stand, which can be found on the eastern side of the showground.
