THE NEW nabim wheat guide*, with its clearer differentiation of variety characters, has been welcomed by Advanta Seeds.

Growers can learn a lot about the nature and performance of different varieties of wheats in grists by “reading between the lines”, says the firm”s Paul Hickman.

Within Group 2, the guide states that the firm”s Solstice “can, depending on performance, command a price equivalent to Group 1 varieties”, he notes.
