Man killed in farm accident

A MAN has been killed in an accident with a hedgecutter in mid Wales, Dyfed-Powys Police has told the BBC.

The accident happened on Wednesday afternoon (Jan 12).

It is believed that the man fell into the blades of the tractor-powered hedgecutter, police said.

The incident happened at a farm between Brynhoffnant and Newquay, Ceredigion.

The Health and Safety Executive has visited the scene and launched an inquiry, the BBC reports.
