Renewables one-on-one sessions for farmers
Farmers and landowners can attend one of 10 one-on-one renewable energy advice sessions across the country from Monday.
REsolved Renewables – the renewables arm of consultancy firm ADAS – is holding 10 renewable energy clinics across the country to help farmers assess their land’s energy potential.
“The aim of the clinics is to offer landowners considering renewables developments personal advice and information on the different technologies,” said ADAS farm and renewable energy consultant Helen Wyman.
“This can also include an assessment of the potential return on investment and any regulatory challenges they may face.
“All they need to do is register with us for a free appointment and we can give advice on the range of options available to them, whether they’re just starting to think about renewable energy or are looking for detailed advice on existing plans.”
The sessions kick off on Monday 5 November at the Cardigan Livestock Market and finish on Tuesday 11 December at Sedgemoor Auction Centre in Somerset.
