Last of Bailea heifers raise the bar at Carlisle

The last two maiden heifers in the draft from the Bailea herd have taken the top two prices of the day so far in Carlisle, with Bailea Dulsie (lot 38) selling at 7000gns to Smiths of Bloxham. This is a Seringa daughter out of Bailea Allstar, a Requin daughter.Then the last of the maidens, Bailea Delphine (lot 39) sold at 12,000gns, again to Smiths of Bloxham. This one, is a Seringa daughter out of Bailea Begonia, a Requin daughter which is herself full sister to 50,000gns sale Bailea Umandy, dam of this year’s prolific show winner Ironstone Dumandy.
