Limousin judging underway at Carlisle
Taking the Limousin senior championship under judge Michael Massie this morning in Carlisle was Norman Cruikshank’s Normande Bruce. Carrying an EBV of +35 he is by Ravageur and out of a homebred cow.
Taking the reserve senior section was Matt and Craig Ridley’s Sympa son Haltcliffe Bravo. Full brother to the 10,000gns Haltcliffe Underwriter he has an EBV of +40 and is out of Ronick Ricole.
In the intermediate section Howard McFarland took the honours with another Sympa son. Rahoney Bartimaeus is out of a homebred cow. Standing reserve was the Quick family’s Loosebeare Bananaman. By Rainbow Simon he is out of a homebred female.
Taking the junior championship was M S Potter’s Bailea Vantage son, Hannem Bean (lot 252). Standing reserve was a Cloughhead Umpire son Haltcliffe Braveheart from Matt and Craig Ridley (lot 236).
