Giant monster hybrid chickens

Here’s a catchy tune to add to the lexicon of chicken-related songs.

It hides few pretensions in its name, simply: “The chicken song” – but is less than complementary about the practices of the poultry industry.

The song claims eggs are hatched “in dark warehouses”, and grow to full size in seven days. It also suggests hormones and feed additives are routinely used in poultry production. Despite this the artist, who is dressed as a chicken in the video, is not a vegetarian. He does give a warning about taking intensive farming, transcribed below, too far.

“The chickens gonna get their revenge one day, you just wait and see.

“There will  be a giant monster hybrid chicken that eats humans for tea. An he’ll break out of the warehouse, and roam about the earth, and he’ll eat all you motherf*****s, with peri peri sauce.”

Poultry farmers, you have been warned.
