New-look Poultec takes to the road
Training provider Poultec has had a major refresh of its branding, including a move from its traditional blue and yellow colour combination to black and orange, designed to give “a fresher, modern feel”.
As part of the relaunch at the Royal Norfolk Show this week (30 June), Poultec has also unveiled three new mobile learning vehicles.
The “learning and skills vehicle” has been fitted out as an IT training suite on wheels, including 10 hi-spec laptops and satellite access to broadband.
The “hospitality and catering skills vehicle” incorporates a fully-fitted commercial kitchen with its own water and power supply.
And the “information and support vehicle” provides a mobile base for marketing apprenticeships.
All three vehicles have been designed to take training to the workplace – one of Poultec’s founding principles.
Speaking to Poultry World from the Norfolk Show, partnerships manager Leroy Burrell said the vehicles had attracted a lot of attention from showgoers and media alike.
But the real work starts next Monday (5 July), when the IT vehicle takes to the road for the first time to a real training situation.
Poultec is a private, work-based training provider based at South Green Park, Mattishall, Norfolk and provides training on a national basis, including a range of training schemes for the poultry sector.
