Smaller entry for Longhorns at Sedgemoor market

Last week’s 7th Mid West Longhorn Breeders production sale at Sedgemoor Auction Centre saw a smaller entry compared to last year.

Main vendors David and Pat Lawrence sold March 2011 born heifers, to 660gns for Tripps Lily by Tripps Imperial and Tripps Linda by Tripps Eric.

June 2011 born steers from the same Vendor sold to £645.00.

Late entries of cows and calves sold to £770 for the heifer CWRT Henllys Jip, with her bull calf at foot from J A J Pearce.
