Carre Pentasol tined cultivator enters UK market
Willow Farm Machinery is steadily expanding its machinery range, with new models from French maker Carre as well as offering machines from New Zealand maker Duncan.
The Carre Pentasol tined cultivator comes in widths from 2.7m to 8m. This 5.9m model has five rows of spring tines, followed by a range of rollers and there’s a choice of tine spacing. On this model, buyers can opt for 48, 58 or 72 tines. Cost is a moderate-sounding £10,895.
Willow has also taken over the import of New Zealand-made Duncan grass drills and bale unrollers. Though the £18,000 Eco Seeder drill is mainly intended for drilling grass seed and stubble turnips, the importer says that there is also surprise demand for using it to sow wheat.
The Eco-feeder bale unrollers give a simple way to feed round bale silage, hay or straw. You back up to the bale, slide the tine under it, toilt the bed back to transport position and then feed out the bale.
