Lamma 2023: Bullock Tillage launches Grass Plus 3.0 harrow

Bullock Tillage has introduced a multi-use grass harrow to rejuvenate grassland and sow cover crops.

The Grass Plus 3.0 has three main elements, starting with a set of levelling boards to knock down mole hills and spread residue. Three rows of adjustable 10mm tines then rake the surface and move enough soil for effective seed establishment.

At the rear, the firm has fitted a 450mm prismatic roller to consolidate the surface, which has a hydraulic ram to offer depth adjustment on the fly.

Seeding is taken care of by a 200-litre air applicator mounted on the top of the chassis, with pipes running to spreader plates positioned between the second and third rows of tines.

The air seeder comes with an in-cab control box that offers push-button adjustment of fan and rotor speed, as well as a hopper level warning light.

Additional features include a complete set of rotors to cater for different types of seed and a top-link sensor to switch the machine on and off with the movement of the tractor’s linkage.

GPS control will also be available as an option.
