Vaderstad‘s grain and fertiliser drill made its debut appearance at the event.

The trailed Spirit 400SDC employs a centrally mounted “split” hopper with each side holding 1950 litres.

Two metering systems feed the seed and fertiliser to two distribution heads with seed arriving at the disc coulters at the rear of the drill while the fertiliser is delivered to the cultivation discs at the front of the drill – an arrangement which is claimed to avoid fert/seed contact.
