The Vogelsang range of slurry applicators is being revamped following a joint venture agreement that will see new products becoming available and production shifted to the central European state of Slovenia.

BeTec, the German manufacturer’s new partner, is based in Sentjur, a town 60 miles east of Ljubljana, the capital city, where it builds an extensive range of slurry tankers, tanker-mounted dribble bars and trailing shoe applicators.

There are immediate plans to expand the BlackBird trailing shoe range with two specification tiers.

GreenLine is more price-focused and will be supplied with BeTec’s OptiCut distribution heads, while RedLine units will be more advanced, featuring Vogelsang’s leaf springs, ExaCut distribution heads and PrecisionFlow skids.

The umbilical range will also feature products from both partners to cater for a more diverse user base.
