Adjuvant for fungicides
NEWLY approved adjuvant, Designer, is specifically formulated to boost the efficacy of modern cereal fungicides, says maker Newman Agrochemicals.
"It is a formulated mix of organosilicone spreader and spray sticker," says the companys technical manager David Foster. Yield response over fungicide alone treatments of Amistar (azoxystrobin) and Opus (epoxiconazole) averaged 0.6t/ha (0.24t/acre) across 33 trials and three years, says the company.
Recommended rate of use is 0.125% of the final spray volume and price is £30/litre. *
