Air drill freshens up tired grassland

THE Einbock pneumatic grassland drill from Terrington Machinery Imports is aimed at rejuvenating pasture.

In 3m (10ft) and 6m (20ft) working widths, the pneumatic drill is carried on a tined grassland harrow, with seed distributed using spreader plates. Hopper capacity is 50kg and seed rate is adjustable from 0-45kg/ha.

Harrow tines are arranged in six rows, and being staggered the interval between each tine is 3cm. The 3m pneumatic model costs from £4800 and requires 50hp.n
