Ano-frills telehandler with extra lift capacity

JCBs 528S Loadall is now in production, reports the company. First seen at Germanys Agritechnica exhibition last autumn, the machine is described as a low-cost, no-frills telehandler option for use on both arable and stock farms.

Based on the 526 Loadall, the engine is at the rear of the machine – rather than the side – and axles and boom have been beefed up to cope with the machines extra lifting capacity.

The 528S is able to lift a 2.8t payload – 2.4t to its maximum lift height of 6.75m. Lift capacity at full reach is rated at 1.2t.

Features include hub-mounted polythene, damage resistant fenders, larger fuel tank and JCBs Q-fit carriage.
