Anti-hunt groups target march homes

ANTI-HUNT extremists plan to target the homes of protesters travelling to London for the Countryside March, reports The Daily Telegraph.

It says animal rights groups such as the Animal Liberation Front, Urban Alliance and Justice Department would target people involved in hunting.

The Countryside Alliance, organisers of the demonstration in the capital on 18 March, said it was horrified at the news.

It urged people involved in the march to take precautions and contact local police stations.

Last week the Countryside Alliance said it still planned to go ahead with the march despite the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease.

On Friday it dismissed calls from London mayor Ken Livingstone for the march to banned as a political stunt.
