Cows averaged £742 when stock from the Friepark Holstein Friesian herd was recently sold at Hambledon, Hants for John Parker Farms. The day saw a top bid of 1060gns for a third-calf cow, sired by Hanoverhill Stardom. But it was the 13 to 15-month heifers which generated the most interest ringside, selling to 560gns and averaging £527.(R B Taylor and Sons/Ian Judd & Partners)
