Showmen, breeders and commercial milk producers will descend on Manor Farm, Derby, next Tuesday (Apr 22), when the milking portion of the Premium herd will be sold. Also on offer will be a consignment of Canadian animals, which were shipped across this week. Farmer David Oldershaw plans to install a new high-tech parlour, then start milking again next spring.
