The view ringside at Raglan, Gwent, last weekend where the Pen-y-Parc pedigree Charolais and commercial herds were sold by Avril Evans. Top price was 6200gns for the four-year-old cow Penyparc Isobell and her heifer calf Nadine. Among the commercial sucklers, in-calf heifers averaged £578, while cows with calves at foot levelled £809.
