&#8226 Make sure the sprayer tank is clean before filling

&#8226 Check that you are using the correct volume of water, and have at least a quarter of it in before adding the product

&#8226 Take extra care when mixing into very cold or hard water, since it may reduce the effectiveness of some mixtures

&#8226 Fill the tank in the order recommended

&#8226 Pour in one product at a time to avoid two active ingredients meeting in the induction hopper

&#8226 Agitate well between products and keep agitation on until the tank is empty

&#8226 Match filters to nozzles, and choose according to products

Agrochemical manufacturers suggest the following order of loading when tank-mixing:

1. water dispersible granules

2. wettable powders

3. suspension concentrates or flowables

4. emulsifiable concentrates

5. solution concentrates or liquids
