uMEMBERS of the Country Landowners Association have donated £500 and two ewe lambs to help disabled people to learn traditional rural skills. The money will be used to create a herb garden at the Wharf Meadow Centre, Tardebigge, near Bromsgrove, Worcs, which has taught rural skills to disabled people since 1973. The lambs will be used to demonstrate animal husbandry at the centre.

uJUNIOR farm minister Lord Donoughue has initiated a new farm safety drive in Cornwall following two fatal accidents that recently occurred in the county. He intended to involve all parties concerned in agriculture and raise awareness of health and safety issues. Alongside the Health and Safety Executive, the drive will include the NFU, Country Landowners Association and the Transport and General Workers Union. &#42
