Six of the best… Rearing six live lambs will be a tough task for this Charollais cross Mule ewe. Multiple births, with as many lambs as this, are not common without artificially boosting conception rates. However, Overman and Sons shepherd Robin Williams (left) and assistant Charles Gowling at The Hermitage, Brampton Ash, near Market Harborough, Northants say these lambs were conceived naturally. They plan to foster some of these lambs on to other ewes but shes currently rearing all six.
