What am I bid? Tory Party leader William Hague took questions from around 80 Cornish farmers at New House Farm, Lamellion, Liskeard, this week. While NFU president Ben Gill listened in, organiser and former NFU county chairman Philip Stephens (left) said: "The visit went very well. I think most of the farmers were pleasantly surprised that Mr Hague had a grasp of the subject beyond the soundbite."
