Youve made your bed, now you can, er, push it… Members of Rea Valley Young Farmers Club raised about £1000 for Imperial Cancer Research and the Air Ambulance with their recent eight-mile charity bed push in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. "It was casualty- free this year," says participant Andrew Marsh, after last years effort saw some of the fund-raisers end up in hospital after going through a hedge. "We got a mixed reaction from the public, but even when we were pushing it along side roads, some people were throwing money at us," says Andrew.
