A two-year-old red heifer by Drostan of Strathmashie sold for the top price of 800gns when a selection of Highland cattle were offered at Perth. Part of the Pollok Folds reduction sale for owners Glasgow City Council, the heifer was bought by Ron Shaw, Glasgow.The sale was part of the annual breed societys autumn fixture at this venue where prices peaked at 600gns paid by Ecoss Ltd, Northants for Aberlour, Banffshire breeder Alan Gartons red in-calf heifer Cara 7th of Ousdale (United Auctions).
