CORRECTION
LOVELAND Industries points out that in herbicide trials (Mar 9) Monitor (sulfosulfuron) + its Torpedo II adjuvant was compared with Monsantos standard recommendation of 25g ai + a Tallow-amine adjuvant. In this situation, for this one product, broadleaved weed control and spray treatment costs were comparable. For other herbicides listed in the article a reduced rate herbicide plus Torpedo II was more cost-effective than full rate herbicide alone, as stated. *
