Backpack blower shifts the stuff

POWERED by a 5hp engine with a catalytic converter, Stihls Backpack BR420C blower is designed for tasks such as blowing grass cuttings, leaves and powdery snow.

The converter afterburns at temperatures up to 1000C, which, it is claimed, reduces harmful hydrocarbons in exhaust by as much as 60%.

Control of the blower is from a multi-function handle capable of adjusting the throttle and direction of the air stream.
