Bears attack sheep in preparation for big sleep


The first recorded instance of bear attacks on sheep in the Bieszczady mountains of south-east Poland took place in the past few days. The attacks were just 229m (250 yards) from farm buildings. The bears were fattening themselves up before hibernation.
